Support from the Village of Dixmoor

Dear Illinois Gaming Board,

As you consider applicants for the south suburban casino license, I am reaching out to express my support for the Wind Creek Hospitality application located in East Hazel Crest and Homewood.

This project is more about a casino, it’s about how the surrounding communities will benefit from it – jobs, new roads, charitable giving, shared tax revenue and creating a need for ancillary development around the casino. I am confident that Wind Creek’s proposal will best ensure that the economic benefits from a casino are maximized to benefit the entire region.

This region needs this project to succeed, and Wind Creek Hospitality is the best operator for the entire south suburbs. They have a stellar reputation and a proven track record of success – not only in gaming operations, but also in being a good neighbor. They support the communities surrounding their properties by awarding local and diverse contracts, sponsoring numerous philanthropic projects, providing jobs for local residents and more.
