Support From the Village of Glenview

As Village President of the Village of Glenwood, please accept this letter in support for the proposed casino, hotel and entertainment center to be located in Homewood and East Hazel Crest.

As former Chair of the Chicago Southland Chamber of Commerce still serving on the Executive Committee and as the Vice President of the South Suburban Mayors and Managers Association, I take a holistic approach to the southland. Upon reviewing the proposed four sites, this location will provide the most benefits to the south suburbs and has the largest earning potential due to its location, highway access, and proximity to the Indiana border. In addition, the project would be a wonderful stimulus for the Chicago Southland and in particular the Village of Glenwood providing business development opportunities, jobs, tax revenue and stimulate the economy.
