Support From the Village of Posen

I am writing to offer my support to Wind Creek Hospitality’s application for a casino license for a site in East Hazel Crest and Homewood.

I, along with many of my colleagues in the region, have had the opportunity to review the points of the proposed site. It is my opinion that this particular location will provide the best opportunity for revenue and jobs in a region that could use the boost. I also believe this particular location and proposal will help this site thrive.

Wind Creek Hospitality is different from its competition in their desire and their record of helping the communities in which they invest by providing jobs and economic stability to the area. Their proposed Southland Public Benefit Fund has the power to change the lives of young people who live here. I believe this will ultimately impact our state by providing educational opportunities through scholarships that will inspire the workforce of the future to come back to the region.
